firstly lyndale batted all out 177 tight as pitchwhich we were leniant on wides
Not tight for Narre, we play on it every week, you weren't lenient on the wides because we don't bowl em.
and after the first 3 overs complete bullcrap wide calls 4 lbw shouts 1 at one end 3 at the other the 1 given out yet 1 dead plum from the other out of 3 wasnt given
Just because a ball hits a batsmen on the pad, doesn't mean he is out. Lyndale were being called for wides because they were bowling wides.
then after another atroshis wide call me being captain for the day asked that the umpire go off the ground of which narre warren captain refused to take him off.
He refused to take him off because he wasn't doing anything wrong, except turning down frivolous LBW appeals & calling wides on a tight pitch.
at the end of the 3rd he went off
Only because we were keen to de-fuse the situation.
then next over excessively called for no balls
because you were bowling no-balls
of i asked a player to watch the crease still another 1 called of which the player told me i was behind the line but my foot was in the air wich is acceptable
then in the 5th over the most obvious dead plum were the batter left the ball and stood in front of his stumps given not out so i told my bowler to ask why it wasnt out he was told it pitched outside off were he said did it hit him in front and the umpire replied yes and that was when our bowler called him a cheat and that was when narre walked off.
I think you left left out alot of the abuse, threats & finger pointing, but the umpire called it.
also a very friendly contest til our 3rd wicket lost were the fielder that got the catch didnt start the ball in the field of play which was unfair
Huh?, he was leaning on the fence talking to his Mrs which the batsmen then abused.
but then the bowler had a big crack at the outgoing batsman saying couldn hit that one over the fence you **** truck.
He said "You can't keep on playing shots in the air & not expect to get caught out"WOW
thats were the first bit of abuse
Haha
started in that game and at tea the bowler said sorry to the batter and he said whatever were then he said whatever mate keep whingin you sook. so after that it became a heated contest were narre warren players were very intimidating to our juniour batters coming up to them and telling them how they should be batting.
This is a disgrace, some of the Narre players offered advice to Juniors & you call that intimidation? you are pathetic.
also AURAVALE CC never asked any of us to leave and if u knew wat us players went through to get these clearances there would def have been no ring in case after xmas.
Not what i heard from inside the club.
watever at the end of the day LYNDALE CC were prepared to keep playing and the NARRE WARREN CC players walked off the ground and after doing so 2 club members pulled there stumps out which we approached the captain and told him to put the stumps back in and that didnt happen. the victory should be handed to lyndale whether there be ramifications to any players from either side thats to the discretion of the ddca.
You can have the win, we don't care, we play for the love of the game & club, our avg age would be 50. Go on & enjoy your points

Some part of your foor must be grounded behind the line
then in the 5th over the most obvious dead plum were the batter left the ball and stood in front of his stumps given not out so i told my bowler to ask why it wasnt out he was told it pitched outside off were he said did it hit him in front and the umpire replied yes and that was when our bowler called him a cheat and that was when narre walked off.

not 100% but thought as long as ur behind the line ur fine regardless if heel is in air
gotta take narrees side there having played lyndale twice in 3 games they are a rabble and should lose there points their attitude is rubbing off on there juniors aswell one was giving lbw and started having ago at the umpire and the other was run out for a diamond duck. it was the strikers call and he said no. the kid just kept running and abused the **** out of his team mate they shoud lose all points and the culprits should be banned
Actually if you read it i didn't bring it up, he did, i just thought i knew the rule which obviously i don't, it is irrelevant anyway. But the umpire insists he told the bowler that he was an inch over the line & thats whe he was calling hom.
