And who exactly decided that 'a road' is the best condition a pitch can be in anyway?

Slocs some grounds and wickets are different.............i don't know what soil is at Harold rd but Mordis wicket is that Merri (spelling) creek stuff which from what i hear is ordinary it crumbles and barely holds together?

Some grounds and wickets have poor drainage which clubs can't be held accountable for, i know at Harold Rd your square is raised a little which would help.

Personally I find playing on roads boring as fck (even though it becomes ridiculously easy to hit sixes).

Nothing more boring than watching it either.

This. You will see a decline in 20/20 over here soon. It is already happening back home at an alarming rate.

People are getting sick of bat dominating ball.

Mark my words...

Though i don't disagree Bobby, everyone seems to remember the ODI against the SAFAS where we made 430 odd and they chased us down.

You can put your head in the sand Slocs, but it's already happening mate. The honeymoon period is over for 20/20. People have seen players score hundreds off 50 balls and are getting bored with it. Sixes barely raise an eyebrow.

The paying public are crying out for an even contest once more.

The only reason it is still so popular over here is because you were the last country to jump on board.

Goochy, Batsman wouldnt like to see a deck with a bit in it. It would be far to hard for them.
