Was talking to a mordi local down at the st kilda fest today who said and i quote" big chance of dov gaining big % next game because the mordi guys really are not interested in next weeks game and just want the season to end"

i hope for the game of cricket mordi dont just lie down and end up having a say on the final four.

you wouldnt have thought it will make any difference to SSCC as im sure they will whoop Coomorra's ASS and collect a decent whack in percentage themselves, with finals possibly hinging on percentage will most teams with a sniff now play out the overs or pull up stumps when either side has won ????? if so then it begs the question why not do it all year instead of in the last few games when it gets a bit tight ??

Could point Max.........would it be fair to say that both SSCC & Doveton will be looking to bowl 1st this week and then come out an be aggresive/positive with the bat?

what do you mean beav?
and what are you gonna do if you win the toss?

I am very happy at MMCC and as things stand I plan on playing for them again next year.

I mean if both you and imparticular the Doves are chasing % or Outright then the best way to go is bowl 1st i would of thought........knowing what they have to chase is handy in this situation imo.
Also just agree with Max point about playing out this last game to gain % when teams could have done it all year and increased there %.

All will be revealed Saturday i guess Craig, need to see the wicket i guess to decide?

Hey Beav,

do you think you are a chance of coming up with the coulds this week against Doveton?

Hey bernst, your saying that teams should play the second day out to earn extra %. Didn't you start a topic here titled "5 o'clock rule" which questioned why we bother playing on till 5 when a result is obvious?
