I'm confused, I just wanted know what winners usually polled?
And if berwick has a lack of depth because one bloke gets 33 votes wouldn't that apply to doveton too??

I guess when you post the highlighted then it should just go unnoticed through to the keeper.

He was replying to what 202s said ya knob jockey!

Interesting when 65 matches out off 66 had been read out Hendy was on 33 votes Franga was on 32.
In the last match where EVO made 132 and Franga made 76, Franga only received 1 vote from one umpire and '0' from the other effectively costing him the medal.

Franga was lucky to get one vote in the last round, ash took 6fa, evo 134, and st marys guy got 100.

That was a response to what 2o2s wrote Brett. He said berwick had a lack of depth because 1 player managed to get 33 votes, so based on that theory I answered that if that's the case he must think doveton are the same. I don't think that myself.

Yeah that's cool, I'm ok with that, all in fun but beaver has to read the threads properly before having a crack at me.

Franga only got to play for 1 day against Mordi where as Spanna got to play two days in my eyes Franga should win on count back.

Sheepy i was not having a go at you i was just saying 33/132 is a indication that you still need team contributions.
But yes i missed some of the thread, sometimes it is to much to scan every page so i apologise for that slip up.

not a ddca rule (the count back) its actually the umpires
they are the ones who need to change it
which i agree it should be

Will Franga write an open letter to the DDCA on abolishing count backs????????

*Ducks For Cover*

Just kidding, but seriously someone should, count backs are a joke. The guy polled more often and has it taken off him. Just Wrong. Even the AFL figured they got it wrong for years and made up for it.

Just returned home from a funny/eventful night

1stly congratulations to a fantastic night that was set up by Peter Barnes under trying circumstances the efforts he went to ie: player interviews and the way the night was run was 1st class.

2ndly congratulations to Spann on his victory he deserved the victory, but on a sour note how a man who tied the count with Spanna on 33 votes and had the medal stripped back on count back was a shocker and i feel for the bloke.

3rdly how Franga responded to the disappointment in a superb way by not letting his disappointment shown and kick on with all the lads to the early hours of the morning was tremendous and not knowing to much about the guy i totally respect him for the way he handled himself.

4thly why would you have a function and not have delegated tables? myself and my clubs representives where last to enter the room 7 of us and there was only one table taht had 6 seats remaining there fore i chose to go and sit next to Fridgey on the SSCC table with the Hallam lads. This should not have happened imo.

5thly thank you to the SSCC lads for allowing me to share a table with them and especially Nicko sorry mate.

So we kicked on to the Prince Mark hotel for some beers had a great night with about 16 of the lads lots of laughter and banter.

BOG Leigh Booth absolutely hilarious all night and just guzzled the Beers.

WORST Hutchy,
