Yep second best ground i have played at, next to Bankstown oval. Though mind you the MCG would have been pretty brilliant to play at.

the G is a great ground to play at though i found it hard to pick the ball up when fielding !!!!!!! lol

I also think the 'G' is to small. Far to easy getting smacked for 6

keysy is a lovely ground  as are most of the grounds in the comp but in saying that i dont think im being biased here as i have heard it from blokes from years, sscc has the best atmosphere and as a venue to watch a game of cricket it cant be beaten but any club in the comp you would say the only downside is that its short straight but i would argue that its the same for both sides !! and thx for the 2 years in a row Nice touch !!

do you honestly think that G-TRAIN ? i dont agree with you there at all mate it would be the opposite for me its not a great viewing ground and seating has never been that great there, the facilities are very good though nets/rooms etc

Yeah for sure mate. The viewing is better because you are elevated a bit most of the way around the ground. Great setting with the big trees along Buchanan Rd, short square boundaries so you are close to the action from the rooms. Not sure what you mean about the seating. There's seats all along the front of the rooms and there's plenty of room just near the rooms for deckchairs as well.

Buckley albeit a great place to watch does not have the allround facilities to cope with a G/F i dont think it would be great to have one side changing out under the trees during a final now would it ??
