Why don't we all just post deep and meaningful opinions under alias from now on so no one knows who is who and see how it all 'ends up in the wash'

We should not be encouraging people to pot clubs or players under alias on here, anyone who has the courage to do it under there name should be applauded imo.......that's why blokes like yourself and Gtrain etc etc have gained respect by putting there opinions under there name.......well thats how i see it anyway.

I am not trying to bully Scruffy even though it looks like it, i am merely pointing out it was a irrelevant post from someone SSCC has no idea who it is......so they should not waste there time responding. We all have skeletons in the closet so to speak so atleast when someone puts a name to there post we can at least be aware of the back ground of said individual allowing us to use this information if required for a rebuttal........but against a Alias we know nothing, what grade they play, what club, how old, etc etc might as well talk to a brick wall.

Oddball, I haven't used an alias for about two years so i don't know what you are on about there. As you said before, prince and I put our own names to our posts.

I have no idea why I'm bothering replying to this alias but I'm sorry Mr Nobody I haven't been around lately. If you must know I have been running a rape trail for the last few days and as we are awaiting a decision I thought I would catch up with the discussion relating to the weekends results while I had a chance. Thankyou for your congratualtions on making the finals, obviously we would have preferred to have won every game and finished without an outright but that wasn't the position we found ourselves in and the decision o declare was made with our own interests in mind.

I understand the SSCC boys being upset and have actually been in contact with Slocs since Saturday night and will catch up with him for a beer this week. I think what has been overlooked here a little is the effort of our players to take 18 wickets in 80 overs against the reigning premier to sneak in. I would also like to acknowledge the great effort of our club on all 6 senior teams making finals, well done to all involved.

Thanks Bobby, while we would have preferred to have got there in less controversial circumstances as evidenced by the conversation on this board I'm looking forward to it. We haven't played finals for a few years now and we give ourselves a good chance to play well. We have a good record v Berwick and enjoy playing at the Cave, I just hope the weather holds out but I'm sure the covers are down already so we won't have any worries
