I've been sitting on this for a while and have been meant to open it for discussion.
What do people make of the rule which can have Buckley's turf 2 play as many imports as they like yet most the teams they play against can only have 1.
This isn't a dig at Buckley, they are playing by the rules...........ridiculous rules!

No it doesn't seem very fair at all. They'd need to bring in a rule for the competition all the way down though, where you can only have one import maximum in each grade, as obviously not all first elevens are in turf 1 and 2.
i think there was a story in the Journal or Leader that Sandown Park could lose their points in D grade because they had a few players from overseas studying here playing with them and as that is the clubs only team it is their 1st XI
i actually was pointing out the way the rules stand you can have unlimited overseas players in anyteam other than yr first eleven. So if Buckley wanted to they could drop Franks to their 2nd eleven if they thought their one's had no chance.

But if Buckleys 1st did not make it Franks would still have to play his quota of games in T2 to qualify. Rob surely as a former club President you knew this?????
They could only play him in T2 if there T1 side was still in the finals.
