ok well here is how it goes.
say glenn maxwell has a rookie contract well they have a points system to be elevated to a full contract
so say u need 30 points for a full contract
u get 5 points for being 12th man nd 10 for being in the 11
u get a full contract and a nice lil cheque to go with it
make sense?

well if he is in the vic seconds then he should be on a vic rookie contract which means exactly what i said without saying maxis name and putting bretts in instead

so if your a rookie and dont get any points for playing 2nds or 12th man you cant play in the 1st eleven until you get the points?

there r 3
there is a junior devepment one which is what the under 18s get
there is a rookie one which is basically means u get paid only if u play and u get to play u get points on your contract to gain a full contract
and then there is a full contract with means u get benefits and all kinds of great things
i am 95% certain of this
but when u r under contract u basically cant **** when u r told to

no u can get points for veing 12th man and u are eligable to play in the 1st XI just u dont get paid as much

im pretty sure rookies get paid even if the dont play
