james is deffinately on one now, im pretty sure as soon as darren played his first game they had to give him a 2 year deal straight away

but there are conditions to a contract
they might have a signing fee then theu get paid for when they play
they also get an alowence for when they go interstate like 100 bucks a day or something like that
i know the numbers but i dont really wanna say them out of respect

rookies have a contract and get paid and also you get paid for every day you play in the under 23s. the point system you are referring to norm does exist you do need a certain amount of points if you are on a rookie to get a full contract but im not to sure how many points you need. and you gets the points by playing for the vics first xi and 12th man
