Hi,

Silverton looking at acquiring a new captain/coach for turf 3 next season. Although we are quite happy with how our past few seasons have played out, we are looking to take the next step and get some success in our top grades.

Anyone interested in applying please send through an email to:

i wasnt there all day today secret but i did here someone lost a phone. It had nothing to do with our club. We didnt go in the teams rooms at all during the day.

Mind you there was a pair of cricket shoes, an esky full of ice, a fold up chair and few other things left at the ground which tells me that the teams need to look after their stuff a bit better. All this stuff has been left in the rooms and will be there tomorrow.

The missing phone has nothing to do with Silverton cricket club or its members.

RICHMOND suffered a 74-point NAB Challenge loss to the Bombers on Saturday, but coach Damien Hardwick believes he has found a group of young players that can turn things around at Punt Road.

The Tigers were seven goals behind at half time and were held goalless in the final quarter as the Bombers ran rampant in the 23.9 (147) to 11.7 (73) win.

Essendon had 14 separate goalkickers, with Angus Monfries and David Zaharakis booting three each. Scott Gumbleton kicked two goals in a promising sign for the club.

Just found this on the Tigers website Shane, enough said?
