That's because (and most good judges would agree) that he is the finest player never to have bridged the gulf between county and test cricket.

Ramprakash is a serious bat, maybe not the one that played those fifty tests but  the ramprakash of say 2005-2008  should have played more tests for england in his latter career,  his stats are amazing watched him bat a couple of times live he just churns out runs and does it easy.

And before you say it sheepy yeah he can catch a ball unlike some haha.

Bapo you just write 5hit on here to promote your cricket gear. Ramprakash averaged 27 in test cricket. You reckon he should have played more, surely he was lucky to play that many with that average. That average wouldnt get you invited to carry th ebags in Australia. If he played 52 tests with those stas Hodge would have played 100 tests and probably captained those flogs.

Ramprakash is a better bat than virtually all of the stars of the Oz glory years. The difference is you guys have it upstairs as well. Ramps....well, he just crumbled mentally the second he hit the big stage.

I would wager now he has found some inner peace, he would be a far better player now - even though he is in his 40s!! I believe his average over the last 3 or 4 years is about 100!!!
