Bapo you just write 5hit on here to promote your cricket gear. Ramprakash averaged 27 in test cricket. You reckon he should have played more, surely he was lucky to play that many with that average. That average wouldnt get you invited to carry th ebags in Australia. If he played 52 tests with those stas Hodge would have played 100 tests and probably captained those flogs.
sheepy please refer to the cricket gear as willowizard when ever you post mate . gotta get the brand out there mate . As for hodge fcuken good bat , ramps is just as good took him til 30 odd to work it out . imagine how many tests theyd a played had they used WILLOWIZARD sheepy. And thanks for mentioning we do bat repairs shane have to start paying you for advertising WILLOWIZARD for me mate .

Ramprakash is a better bat than virtually all of the stars of the Oz glory years. The difference is you guys have it upstairs as well. Ramps....well,he just crumbled mentally the second he hit the big stage.
I would wager now he has found some inner peace, he would be a far better player now - even though he is in his 40s!! I believe his average over the last 3 or 4 years is about 100!!!
How was he a better bat if he couldn't handle the big stage Gooch?
I know what you're trying to say but $hit...........he wouldn't have made the Aussie A teams back in those days.
Never saw Franks play so I can't comment on him at all but a very good friend of mine played with him and he told me he was a star so i'm happy to go with that. I also know that he would have struggled a little bit on the slowish decks in the DDCA. It makes a huge difference, the pace of the decks.
I can speak about Ayresy though and can say he is one of the best ive ever seen! Absolute superstar.
He is 44 or something though and in his prime he would easily have been the best bat ever in this league but the best player ever to play in the DDCA is coming in this year. Not a whole lot said about him but Steve Spoljaric should break all sorts of records in this comp.
Will average a min of 50 (taking in consideration the slow decks) and get 40+ wickets at under 10.
I reckon he will be a better all rounder in this comp than D.Law if he stays long enough and I regard Danny as the best this league has seen.

Parkfield premiers in a cantor IMO
Well said....Have to correct you on one thing...Brian Lambert is the best all-rounder to have played in the DDCA.
