At the half way mark of the season what are peoples report on the sides this year? I am going to have a stab but only on what i have read and heard on the radio, others may be best judged to comment due to having watched more games then i have.
Geelong. Still the best team in the Afl, just keep doing the job each week with little fuss and will be hard to beat in September. Collingwood. Look to have improved under a new style of football, genuine contenders but the only thing to stop them is will there stars aka Davis, Didak and co go missing in finals have they have been know to do. St.Kilda. Well drilled defensive out fit, can't win the premiership without Nick riewoldt as he gives direction and fire power to the line up. Fremantle. The dockers are looking dangerous and have a even spread, but can they be consistant enough and experienced enough to cause any troubles at the right end of the year. Carlton. Blues are hot and cold, on there day they can be a super outfit and love free flowing football but under the pressure of finals football there small bodys will struggle. May see them win 1 finals game. Western Bulldogs. No doubt they are a class outfit, they won the nab cup due to better ball use and fitness. Now it appears most sides have got those to areas up and bridged the cap. Can the dogs take it to another level and can they beat the top teams Sydney. The swans are well coached Roos gets the best out of his chargers who are formitable at home and inconsistant away. They have a gap between there older players and there up and coming having lost players like Buchannan, Schneider & co Hawthorn. They seem to have the talent, but get hammered by injuries and seem to struggle now everyone knows there game style. Can't quiet put my finger on why they are battling when they could and should be pushing top 4. Essendon. If you can't slow the game up there speed will split you open, another side who lacks consistantcy. Brisbane. Many scibes had the Lions finishing high up, the addition of Fevola and Buchanan and McGuire having settled in down back gave them added depth but there midfielder though full of class are getting hurth the other way against younger and quicker opponents. Port. Not sure about the Power, don't here a lot about them i know they have some quality players who battle away from home. North. Most had them near the bottom, they are not out of jail yet but a lot on encouraging signs. List been stripped back and Scott got them playing for one and another more games to there young players will bring greater consistancy and improvement. Melbourne. Look exciting, young out fit with a good mix of talent. Jurrah and Watts need to come on to give forward options but there defense looks solid and there mids will be ellite in a few years. West Coast. Disappointing the Eagles they have lost the ore they had at home and now are beatable. Are they in a transistion mode or just have a poor list and are no good. Adelaide. Neil Craig must be feeling the heat they show glimpses at times but a bad start to the year has his head on the chopping block. There starts are retiring or are on the verge Dangerfield will be the next leader of the club but have they recruited well to progress. Richmond. Well there farked, poor list won't improve a lot with there current squad won't improve at draft with GC17 and GWS coming in they will be poor for 10 years at least before they may be able to get some good drafts and rise. Richmond won't finish above 12th for the next 10 years and with pressure from Tassie will we see a push for a merger? i suspect not with the tigers fan base but if that deppreciates the jungle drums will beat.

Must be due to the aura of the Rudd mining tax
Great meaningful contribution fark face, never had anything worth while adding have you bar the freckle on your boy friends arse!

I think St. Kilda have a way to go before bridging the cap skill wise.

Stocky, I wouldn't be suprised if the Bulldogs are breaking the salary gap rules.......

I'm not the one stumbling around England with my pants around my ankles, peen.
your summary on Afl is highly unreadable until you guess what you mean by the misspelt words, turd breath

If they are Prince, they will be spoken in the same breath as Melbourne Storm and if the gap fits they will have to where it.

Too true Rocky....do you think the Storms demise is leaving a cap in the Melbourne market? You really have to take your gap off to them the way they have handled themselves.
Stocky, as an deadicated Storm follower it has certainly opened the door the for new Rugby frenchfries The Melbourne Rebels. Hopefully it doesn't hurt the Storm two much. In my opinion, the fans have embraced the bouys and are with them understanding that that dog Waldron is blame. No doubt there is a cap seaming as they are playing for no points.

Darryl don't give me this 'misspelt' words crap when your back yard is a shambles, tidy it up and when you do come and see me and then talk about 'misspelt' words!
