All I know is I stumbled out of one of them the other week after the Yips played Nyora . It was which ever one was full with live music, the more modern of the 2.

That would be the other one prince. Recently undergone so reno's, the bar is all dark grey, with crome features etc. Our bar is more of a country feel, wood panels etc.

41 clubs voted for more than 1 overseas player. 8 voted against it, and 11 didnt vote. Nicko could probably verify the numbers but i think that this is correct. 45 votes were required for the extra overseas players.

Sounds correct from memory. I know there were 60 in the room so 45 were required for the change.

How fu.ckin funny was the call that "It should be 75% of the people that vote"! Stupidist call I have heard in my history of meetings!

 Correct me if i am wrong but i think there are only around 30 odd clubs. Was it only the clubs that voted on this issue. Or where the exceutive and their sub committees included in the vote?

The Exec participated in the vote, also 2 reps from each club were invited and able to participate..........

We have a vote to see what the clubs want...so say if you have 60 people there and of those 60 .... 45 vote in favour of a change which is 75%.

And then the executive will have a vote.

So in reality the executive will always get the deciding votes...not the clubs. Even if 80% of the clubs vote in favour the executive by their power by having a vote can reverse what the clubs want?

Information on the new points system has been forwarded to clubs and is listed on the DDCA website (http://www.ddca.com.au/content.aspx?file=83|25298e).

Turf clubs must submit their list of possible first eleven players to the DDCA before Friday 17th September.

Eventually the approved lists will be available for viewing in the Rule 7 - Player Points section of the DDCA website.
