Outfield is still in pretty good nick although the square last thursday was very soft with very little grass on it. Hopefully the good weather over the last few days has seen some grass grow although we were saying last thursday that we don't reckon it will see play for at least a few more weeks yet. Will give an update after tonight.

Storms forecast for Wednesday followed by possible showers on Thursday and Friday. Any chance we put the covers down on Wednesday if the forecast thunderstorms look like they are gonna hit.

Due to the condition of a number of turf wickets and the pending weather forecast for the rest of the week, all turf cricket for this weekend (Saturday & Sunday 9th & 10th October) has been postponed.
ALL SENIOR SYNTHETIC & JUNIOR MATCHES WILL PROCEED THIS WEEKEND AS NORMAL.
Round 1 turf grade matches will now be played on Saturday 16th October (or Sunday 17th October as the case may be) as one-day matches.
Round 2 turf grade matches will now be played on Saturday 23rd October (or Sunday 24th October as the case may be) also as one-day matches.
MyCricket fixtures will be updated accordingly.
Clubs are reminded that all Turf 1 & Turf 2 one-day teams must wear approved coloured clothing, use white kookaburra balls (not necessarily stamped "DDCA") and apply fielding restrictions as per DDCA Rule 18.6.
All other grades playing one-day matches have the option of coloured clothing, but must use an approved red Kookaburra ball (no fielding restrictions necessary).
