Wasn't bad at Sweeney yesterday. Will be some crackers there this year. Hopefully this expected rain doesn't come this week and it will be an absolute road by Sunday. Better polish my drinkin boots..........

With the weather forecast for later in the week you would have to think turf wont get up again this weekend.

You would think round 1 has been given enough chances. A draw i'd say ranger...

I didn't think we had any spare days because of all the Sunday fixtures this year but that's not the case. The first spare day is 16/01/11 and the second spare day is 20/02/11 so i guess if it's all called off again then we will play round 1 then.

Sweeney is fine, again. Hopefully we will be able to get covers down tonight, and we may actually get to play some cricket this week. Or maybe they will call the whole round off to be fair because a few grounds may not get up. Even though Sundays can normally still play if Saturdays gets washed out. Confusing........

Deck is ready to rock. Not allowed to put covers on, on a Thursday night.

Thanks league, we love paying a curator to do work for fcuk all and not playing cricket because of stupidity.

The weather is Shocking and this might also be the winner of the Caulfield Cup tomorrow. This is a better bet than cricket being played tomorrow.

C'mon DDCA an early notification please.

Just received 8:30am, DDCA have called off Turf Cricket this weekend.

You will find all T3-5 games will be in the same boat as they all have 10 sides.
