Beav, are you serious about Gram being untouchable?

Are you talking to me Woofa or Beav?

Gram was nearly All Australian last year and has been carrying injuries and should not have played Saturday but because our emerg list is weak he was selected. In a side that lacks pace Gram's ability to run and carry the ball off half back and kick it 60 is massive to the side and plays in Riewoldts hands.

Gwilt has been brilliant this year and has announced himself but he must not be content with just been the footballer he is now. He is young and still has room to improve and be even better and possibly look towards all australian honors if he can take his game to the next level and become a A grader footballer!

PA I think after yesterday more work needs to be done at St Kilda.

How will the players get up after losing 3 grand finals in a row, 4 if you count the Pre Season ?
What will happen to the passengers from yesterday ?
What is Nick and a lot of others Mental frame of mind ?
Is Nick the man to lead them after his effots yesterday ?
Is it time for players like Koschitzke,Montagna and Milne ?

1. Your right St.kilda need some changes
2. Well they will struggle Geelong lost 4 before they won one but that was a different group of players and it was only 2 grand finals as one was a draw
3. There were alot of passengers yesterday so hardly able to do much apart from improve
4. Nick like all of them will be mentally shattered and it will motivate them eventually until finals next year were the Demons will reappear again
5. Nick is the man yes, credit to Collingwood yesterday for getting numbers on him Nick always had two opponents on him all day and the delivery was poor also for any forward for St.Kilda
6. Koschitzke is struggling but everyone seems to think in the football world he is best suited in the ruck apart from the coaching staff, yes he played in the ruck yesterday but should have taken the bulk of the work against Jolly. Milne is hit and miss and for the career he has carved for himself he has done well, many passengers down yesterday and Montagna was disappointing need more from him

St.Kilda need another forward so Kosi can play ruck, Gilbert needs to go forward now as Gwilt has stood up so Gilbert can go forward. We need to target Alwyn Davey or some indegionous quick player to help our forwards out. And we need to get as much game time into Stanley and McEvoy and hope they come on and can only get better.
No need for drastic changes, but clearly our game plan needs ajusting so we can be a bigger force and we need to work heavily over our skills also as grafting games out in finals football does not always work. Collingwood were clearly slicker yesterday but were we bad due to percieved pressure???

But what can we get at the trade table

Untouchables: Riewoldt, Hayes, Gilbert, Fisher, Goddard, Montagna, Gram

Trade bait: Dal Santo, Koschitzke

List cloggers: Peake, Dempster, Dawson, McQualter

Improvement req: McEvoy, Stanley, Eddy, Geary, Steven, Gwilt, Ray, Peake, Miles, Lynch & Walsh

Saints will be thereabouts agn next year. Asd theres still a gap from the 2nd 4 Be interesting to see whether theres any mental scaring from the 3 gfs with no wins.

I am not sold on the Collingwood dynasty......yes absolutely fantastic this year but at the end of the day they are Collingwood and only takes one group to go out on the pi'ss and derail what eddy and mick have put in place. Time will tell

And Beav...u are an idiot. One one hand u say we need a forward and then u say we could trade Kosi. How is that improving our list.

Luke Miles is very pacy with some class so hopefully he gets more game time. Stanley looks like he may make it...and we need to fast track our 210cm rookie ruck. And we need to squeeze out another year with Gardiner.

Eddy needs to go....he isnt accountable enough, Peake cannot kick, Armitage lacks class. I would delist them all and try to get some decent kids. More chance with that the the above three.

IMO.....Goddard is in front of reiwoldt right now as our premier player. Roo needs to stand up more in big games and be a champion he could be.We need another forward to free both him and Kosi up..aka when we had gehrig up front.

Rob i assume you are talking to me?

Rob in 2010 Justin Koschitzke kicked 30 goals and had over 10 disposals 13 times with 16 been his highest in 21 games of football.
This is his imput as a tall key forward and i strongly believe that is not good enough for a man of his talent.........alot of people put it on Wells & tambling high draft selections who have not delivered and Kosi a former no.2 has done feck all.

If St.Kilda see his best football as a key forward then we are fecked, He clearly looks more dangerous in the ruck but i think 1-2 years players Like McEvoy and Stanley will go past him.......so if ever we might get something for him now is the time otherwise he will continue his career been a average footballer.

Good work picking Robert Eddy who has played 33 games and is 22 and played the 2nd half Saturday with a broken arm. he has played 10 games this year and got over 10 disposals 8 times with 20 been his best & 5 been his worst in the replay grand final so maybe it is best to look at senior players who have been around for a long time rather then young kids.

I do agree with Peake and Armitage and said this when we recruited Peake and have been saying it about Armitage he has the same reasons as to why we did not play Luke Ball alot but he is still here and Ball is not. WHY?

The other player who was disappointing was Montagna who had a season low 13 disposals on Saturday and a man who is one of our best tacklers had just (2) so we can point the finger as much as we want at the young players but there were alot of senior players who got the job done all year and did f all on Saturday and the reality is our 19-25 players are very weak compaired to the other top 4 teams and i am not sure whether that is a recruiting issue or a development issue but it needs to be addressed.

Big call Bobby considering if Hayes kick bounced in any other direction than the one it did they would have been Premiers a week and a half ago......

Beav... my point was that you said we need another forward and then later you said we could trade Kosi. No gains trading a forward to get another forward. That is like geelong saying we need another back and trades harry taylor to get harry obrien.

But what we need some quick legs with quick cleans hands in the mid field. And a key forweard so we can play Roo upfield. Kosi is fine in the forward 50 if Roo is dragging his oponnets out. Kosi wins most contested ball one on one but this seldom happens.I hate to say this but if Brisbane dont want Fev...he could solve our problem down there.

Let me answer this for Beaver you call him.

Even thought i posted it as my point is Koschitzke is not a forwards bum hole 30 goals a season is not good enough from him even Beav in his Kangaroos days would have slotted 30 in a whole season.

Kosi wins most contested ball lmfaoooooooo clearly i am watching the wrong Justin Koschitzke and the coach's who talk about bringing the ball to the ground against St.Kilda to run off Kosi talk crap too.
