they played ok the roos sir but bit of a difference in the 2 line ups. they are on a mission but i would hardly think any flags have been won at this stage. fair celebration if your mail is correct.

bit harsh on the flog calls, u can only beat who's infront of you, im sure you'll agree with that,

and 2ndly your saying you've never had a big night at the club after a saturday, theres nothing wrong with that, we're not getting ahead of ourselves, we know we've got a long season ahead of us. nothing wrong with a few beers.

I think you're being a bit harsh on them Cobra. I thought they bowled reasonably well considering they were so undermanned with the Pom unable to bowl and L.Booth out. The young opener Hall shows a lot of promise and so does the young leggie Hillard, i thought he bowled super. If they can get Leigh back in and bowling along with the Pom up and about they'll have a pretty steady attack, they were just a bit thin yesterday. Their batting wasn't great, Corey scratched around for his 60 but hung in pretty well (although should've been out on 10 when he bunted one straight to cover but for stumpy to call it a bump ball.....cheatin prick), but again if you throw Leigh and Cox into that line up and those 3 alone are good enough to post winning totals.

I say good on them for giving these kids a go, they'll benefit out of it in the long run.

Slander, Train. TCould have been 5 for 20 if you didn't chest the ball down.  Hallam had positives from Hall, Singh and the young spinner.

Drinking until 5am in your rooms is getting loose? You need to live a little. Im sure your clubs liquor license doesnt allow that? And I bet you drove home. Well done Coomoora.

Remember the days in the 80's when you would stay at the club till 2am then catch the cab to Lazars or Fosters to pick up strays

Jake don't confuse laSers with laZars. Lasers made you a cool local where as going to lazars in town made you a yuppie wanker.
Not sure I could walk the length of athol rd nowdays!!!
