1/570 odd......Punter would've bowled him if fit. Besides that point though...he obviously wasnt right for the gabba and should've declared himself unfit and get himself right for Adelaide. Now with 5 days of cricket under his belt... no way he will be right for Friday

Selectors will pray for a fit Clarke as they will look to move North and Johnson on for Adelaide. If Clarke is not fit North will stay put and end up making a few and save his skin again.

Also, if Katich ends up struggling ie fails in Adelaide twice they will look to Hughes quickly. Katich may hang up the bat at the end of the series so new blood is needed anyway

I'd say he would've went to Katich 1st FT, he'd already tried 2 finger spinners.

This stuff about only bowling Watson in 4 over spells so he's not tired when he goes out to bat is crazy. Drop him down to 6 and bring in Hughes or another opener, he's just about our best old ball bowler.

It is laughable how much North has played compared to Brad Hodge.

Merv hughes today said that johnson performed better than hilfenhous so it should be hilf that gets dropped. If that's how the selectors view cricket games we could be in trouble.

He is our best bowler full stop. And best batsman. And best bloke.

Seriously though, I think I agree with you. As much as I love watching Watto open, he probably needs to drop down the order so we can get 20-30 overs out of him an innings if need be.

Would be pretty tough going having to watch Hughes and Katich bat together though.....eeewww

Gives the Aussie selectors a chance to start Christmas early I guess. They won't bother watching the vics play.

Hey sir, how much did that 5hit full toss end up costing you ???
