Great to see ex-buckley player Jayde Herrick receiving some positive press in today's Age newspaper. Goblin, that's the other newspaper; the big one without the staples..

Thanx LH but what are staples? I thought they were things horses jumped over.

On a serious note it is great to see Herrick going well. He played local cricket not fit enough and worked hard at Premier level to get the body in good nick. I wish him well

Really? Good on him, will be an unbelievable experience to knock the world X1 over when the National side couldn't.

Slocs, do you reckon the ECB will take this opportunity to play a few English born cricketers in this match? Or will they stick with 75% international side?

no idea. did hear today they will rest a few but don't know who. i'm sure tremlett and the likes will no doubt get a chance to impress. i think collingwood is being carried somewhat but they have that luxury.

I've heard Tremlett was actually born in Iceland.
