I've been told the umpire said because they werent over 80 in front (they were exactly 80 in front) they couldn't make St Marys follow on. Funny that the rules say "Not less than 80". Unless im mistaken, the umpire may have royally f@#ked this one in the arse...........
Due to wet outfield we started play at 2.50. 30 overs were deducted due to 110 mins lost. Apparently that should have only been 80 mins due to 30mins being able to be made up.

We bowled well and caught everything but the batting wasn't up to scratch. Not going to sit here and bag them. I'm not saying anything the Maranatha players havent said themselves.
What happened on Saturday was a farking joke. No disrespect to the saints but a major fark up by those officiating cost us a certain outright. Who knows how that could effect things at the end of the year.
I'll be very disappointed if i see either of those two umpires officiating in Turf 1 matches post Christmas.
Slocs, we bowled St Mary's out for 33 and weren't allowed to enforce the follow on.
Prince, I've never come across a bloke with such a vast knowledge of all facets of the game. He even knows how to remove St Mary's covers better than Cashy and his old man thats how good he is.
Good effort by st mary's to get covers down considering the state of the game. Must have been tempting not too with so many other grounds not getting theirs down.

Are you fair dinkum Sheepy? I don't mean to sound harsh here but they don't need to be commended for just doing what is right do they? I don't understand how it could have been tempting to leave them off? St.Mary's are a proud club and so are the Cashman family, I would say it never even entered there minds to sabotage a result.
