S Chapman, R Walton, R Hammond, J Hammond, M Hawking - 5 "Hallam" players
Slocombe, Davidson and Fewkes - 3 that played with Hallam
I guess you missed Gav, probably because he played with lots of teams.
As POM said, Sloc's did play in a flag with us, as did Fewkes and Davo. None would be claimed as Hallam players like the other 5, but Davo is definately an adopted Hallam player, especially seeing that he has coached the club, and been president, including president in our 100th year.
I don't know all these players as well as the rest of you, but trust you when you say there are more Berwick players. I guess to have 5 true Hallam players, plus the other three selected, despite Cam not having played with them at Hallam is a fine effort. Really should have won more flags with that talent at the club, especially when you consider that we had sides that had most of them in it at the same time.
I will stand corrected slocs. I thought he played in the one with you, but he must have gone so we could give you the dollars, so that makes sense. I remember him playing in the semi final loss at Greaves, I think that was at least a year before the flag, so you will be right.

Gee I was SURE I played in a Cranbourne Turf 1 Premiership side with Richard Hammond. Still, they say when you get older your memory plays tricks on you...
I am well aware that the Hammond brothers all played cricket at Cranbourne before Hallam. I am also pretty sure that you will struggle to get anyone to say that Richard and John are not Hallam players, considering that they both played the majority of their senior cricket with us and both made the team of the century.
Richard and Greg were named in the Cranbourne Greatest Team of the last 30 years too. Anyway, can't see what all the fuss is about "claiming" players. The cricketers named by Cam were all great players and a fair few of them played more than one club. Probably about 6 in the case of Jamie Mac.
Look guys thanks very much for all your interest. I only wrote this because Paul Amy at the leader asked me too. You all have valid arguments for different players and none of us are always right. Once again thank you for your interest.
