Serious topic.

Just want to know what facilities will be available at Park Oval this weekend? I heard a whisper we will be using the DDCA rooms as changerooms as that correct? Also, will there be bar and canteen facilities available? Will be handy to know before the weekend, because we can organise something ourselves if not. Cheers.

Lucky the game is not at berwick ,last time i went to that joint it was 25 and not a beer to be found

Gypsy, unfortunately our liquor license didn't allow us to sell alcohol on a Wednesday night. This is in the process of being fixed up at the moment, but considering they have been checking up on us almost weekly since christmas, it would've been a risk not worth taking. By the way, I think you'll find I pm'd Lefty on the day letting him know about the situation and that your crew should all bring there own grog.

Generally the bar and canteen service at Berwick is amongst the best, if not the best in the comp. It's just been a bit unfortunate that the Liquor Licensing laws are the way they are this year.

This topic was not a swipe at your club, they were genuine questions which i'm sure no one with any credibility at Buckley would've taken offence to.

The fact that train had to even ask if his team was going to have a changeroom at a turf 1 semi final just highlights how much of a joke it is that this game is being played there.

I'm not having a go at Buckley they deserve a home final, but I couldn't agree more with you Sheepy especially considering the reply he got was:

"we are of the belief that we can use the ddca side of the building although not officially yet"

What happens if it isn't made official ?!

At the end of day 1, Buckley Ridges are 9/337 so tommorow Berwick will be chasing 338. Can they do it?

Well done to J. Davies from Berwick: 24 overs, 6 maidens, 4 wickets, 80 runs.
