The DDCA is a farce.........  we have a kid who played for Hallam up until Xmas then decided he wanted to play for us , Hallam stalled on his clearence for 2 games , he played 2 games for us then a washout and and  we had 2 byes as well so the kid doesnt qualify for our finals, this is juniors

Then this week a player in our C grade has an apendix removed so he cant play so we ask if someone from our one dayers can take his spot NO  fair enough what about a junior refused as well  its a fkn joke

Did you only have the bare 11 qualify? Sounds harsh that you can't play a junior if this is the case.

No stalling was done just wanted to chat with the kid but they didnt get back to us so own fault their we have never not cleared a kid that is financial. Just a talk would have been good after all we had done for him since August, assisting with rep teams etc. So dont put it on us. PS he is not a C grade cricketer anyways he should never be playing synthetic far too good.

Don't know the reasons as to why he left Smitty but he will be a very. very good player in years to come. One that got away...

Agreed he will be vey good if the talent he has is anything to go by we put him in our turf 3 side straight away.  But he wanted to play with all his mates from school who are in the H/Park area.  He is only new to Vic.  You cant help it if the kids want to play with their school mates that happens.

Of course Hallam should have talked to him ,what concerns me is he was granted a permit to play in Junior finals and not Senior finals  on Wednesday then come Friday the decision was reversed WTF is with that smells fishy to me
