Sir, i'm not saying I agree with you or disagree with you but I dont think having a go at a bloke like Ridgeway on a forum where he's not going to defend himself is any use at all.

Also, if your comment about Casey being embarrassed about Ridgeways comments are true, they need to take a good hard look at themselves, not him.

I see nothing wrong with what he has said...

Terrible, I dont really care who he is, hes carried on like a kid in a school yard just because a guy has left casey. Please spare me and more than happy to tell him to his face.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it.

I dont share your opinion on the way he acted. He was protecting his club and doing the best thing for the kid.

I think G-Train also conducted himself VERY well. He has the option to go hard and defend himself but was very, very professional. IMO

Wowee.. Springy Sth prospect.. An experienced fast bowler, swings the ball both ways at what he described as a good pace.. Has been coached by the great Dennis Lillee and Frank Ryan.. Ill give u a first name, Andrew, Slocs mite to be able to shed some more light on this, Craig?

False claims.. Darren dempsey confirmed him as a certain starter in dandy's ones.. They've said to have kissed and made up after cheequee told him how spinners shud be bowling! Dunno about u but with the guidance of lillee ur man could rip thru some top orders!

Drew will be a great addition to our club. While he has been a journeyman, his height and pace will be a valuable assest with the new rock particularly with the new white one for the one dayers and the Statewide T20 comp. It's fair to the "The General" doesn't have the tank he once did so I can't see him coming off the long run for any prolonged periods and may even spend time in the twos depening on who we are playing (sorry to impede on selection Slocs, just my opinion).
He will be valuable by passing on his knowledge to the young developing quicks we are fortunate to have. Well done to Slocs, Lawls and co. on locking Big Drewie in.

Thanks rocky. Will be a valuable asset on and off the field no doubt. Was very astute in the rooms after training tonight.

Short run up, high action combined with pace and bounce. He'll go ok. He was the only one Ayresy struggled with tonight. He took the long handle to Tim, Jarrod and Nicko but Drew had him in a little froth and bubble. Yes the light was fading but it was fading when the others were bowling too him also!!

He's a good fella and enjoyable to have a beer with. His perspective and ideas on cricket are insightful just like his opinions on current affairs.

I spoke to Warren the great man re facing big Drew. He said handling the pace and big Drews "spitting cobra fast aggat "was a tad bemusing at first.

But later in his spell Wazza noticed limey green piss stains glowing from Drews strides. That was it for Warren, concentation gone and the net session a shambles. Drew will be a handfull this year and an insightfull pick up from the crafty Slocombe. More to come on the pre season progress of the great Drew

Sounds like Big Drew Lee and Hodgey's signing have upset a few down at Park Oval...

are some of their existing players so dumb as to not recognise that they aint gonna fit in the ones. maybe its time for some of them to repay the clubs loyalty in kind and walk to other clubs who will play them in the ones.

I dont say that in the hope of any of them comming to us. Were doing quite nicely, thank you.

word is they are spending about 60k all up. (for instance, in bid to get Brad Hodge to play in the T20, they offered biog bucks PLUS renovations for his home done by club member/s.

I think he's right in calling the SSCC boys dumb! Anyway why isn't he complaining about HSD's splashing the cash on their big signing namely one former Victoria quick?

This page is getting better all the time.

To be honest thought, I think old Riffy has a point. You blokes need to pull your head in and realise that it's only park cricket. You can't fit 18 blokes into 11! What if big Andy doesn't cut it?
