OK, seeing you asked where I was from, I will give my only precise answer on this matter and then the subject is closed. Keysborough.

"My only precise answer". That doesn't make sense, do you have more than one precise answer? Think about it?

If you are from Keysey you would'nt be happy with SS. Lastly, do you give Keysey a chance of being competitive this season?

Gobby, it is you who need to think about how you phrase your questions. You asked: ''So Mars man, are you going to at least declare where you are from?''

That is why I used the word ''precise''. I am from Keysborough, as in the suburb. Not the club.

As I said, as long as you use the cover of Mordy, I'm happy to be Mars man to you.

 Hoo roo.

No need to get technical on a minor point Sir Wordsmith. If you live in Keysey its only fair to tell you i live in Narre Nth.......... care factor zero as who cares where we all live.

Thanks for being precise, i will endeavour to also be precise when i answer your posts.

PS. I travel 14.2 km to work each day and my favourite food is Thai.... Just being precise thats all

OK Gobby, let's stop boring the pants off others.

However, would you (and others) care to nominate the club you think has been the biggest underperformer in recent times?

I'll start with Cranbourne. Huge catchement area yet were unable to stay up in T1. (Fielded nine senior sides and 15 junior terams last year.)

They are obviously hoping for great things from new 33-y-o Yarpie coach Johan Vorster. According to CCC's speil, he's played U19s for South Africa (makes a change from those Sri Lankans!) and provincial level for Transvaal and Free State and helped Johannesburg Uni to three district premierships.

However, Cricinfo stats show he did not bat (r/hand) in the only game he played for Trasnsvall. Bowled 126 balls (l/arm fast) for 103 runs, no wicket. Best of luck Johan.

Good to hear Gypsy, hopefully you can fit them in under the points system. Shaping up to be an exciting year I reckon.

I've been happy with things for a long time Mr Nugget. Evans will be the key to our success this year. Not sure who Davis is though.

Pikey, assuming you chose your avatar because it looks like you, take another look before calling me turdsmith. You look like an outsized brown turd yourself with a pair of oh-so-yesterday's glasses stuck on for oh-so-outdated effect, with a faecel worm crawling out (nose) and a mouth like a slit somebody has made while poking the turd with a stick.

G Train, surely you are taking the proverbial here?  you know exactly who i meant - i.e. Davies, your pom.  At the risk of quoting Mr Wordsmith, another 'knit picker' and apologies for my spelling or lack of.  Hasnt bowled for about 7-8 weeks by the looks of things.  i will take your retorical response as confirmation that this is the case which is a shame for the lad as he seems a good fella

Unfortunately for Davies his county trials didn't work out but he should be good for the start of the season. Good bloke. He better be OK or poor g will notice the string holding up his trousers has snapped! He'll be relying on a 19-y-o and himself -- but the old cho-cho will run out of puff after five overs.
