Craig, do you have someone lined up? Is that why you like it so much.
Again a decision made for the haves, not the have nots............
There is already a divide between clubs, it is now getting wider. We have a great completion and in my opinion the decisions being made may erode even further that competitive competition.
May be hard for some to understand, because they may be the haves.
Oi I don't normally like answering to strangers but I will on this occasion. To answer your first question the answer is no we don't. I think it's a great idea because it gives clubs who you may call a "have not" an opportunity to get a gun player, pull a crowd and make some money. And for the record, my club voted against the 2 overseas player rule. Any other questions?

I dont understand how this would divide the clubs even more if no $$ are changing hands?
As was stated earlier, it is going to be about who you know. If you are lucky enough to be connected to a district player or a state player for that matter, you get a good chance to get them to play for you.
The only reason it is so called uneven is that Oi and his mates can't find anyone. Instead of complaining about clubs that get someone Oi, get off your own bum and get your own. Nobody is stopping you.
It just needs a player like to play point, or runner-up players, they would kill the chance to play one of the players if the first, for whatever reason can not be used.
so if james patto and darren play for doveton they are both only 1 pointers drop me (2 points) and brad hodge can play 4 points, at least i can drink and watch
As it turned out Sir, putting those covers down last night was a waste of time. All Round 1 T20 matches have been abandoned with no points awarded. Which when you think about it, gives a massive advantage to those who had the bye in round 1.
