The DDCUA was saddened to hear of the death of Ian Constable at the weekend.
Ian, who was a DDCA umpire, was battling a serious illness and unfortunately could not overcome a bout of pneumonia he developed.
The funeral service will take place at the W D Rose Chapel, 221 Charman Road, Cheltenham at 10.00am this Thursday (6th October), followed by a private cremation.
The DDCA sends its condolences to Ian's family and his umpiring colleagues.
As a mark of respect, all umpires will be wearing black armbands during this weekend's round 1 matches.
