Worst idea the ddca has ever had, we don't play any more cricket just means we have to show up to grounds and  hang around all day, and leaves it up too much dodgy stuff, with the covers going on in time. Thoughts?

Surely you jest, or cant remember the pre covers days. So many times you  couldn't play on bright sunny afternoons because it had pissed down Friday night or Saturday morning. You cant blame the covers when it doesn't stop raining all day Saturday.

What about the week before you tools hang around all day for no result,in the past would have played rain card and been at racers or pub

 Covers are about playing more cricket. If you want to play cards, go to the pub or play with ten speed bicycles, dont play cricket.
