This should not be a attack on Berwick, if a young kid wants to come to you'r club then any club should embrace him. Cory is old enough to make his own choices and decisions on want he thinks is best for his future rightfully or wrongly no one can begrudge him that.
Am I right in saying Sir had a big part to play with this? As Cory and your young girl are really good friends ??

as you said cory is old enough to make up his own mind, the rest was between cory and train....
Don't be so sure Prince, with Wills, McDonnell, Holden, Hewitt, Francis, Davies, Perrin, Tucker, Crawford and Henry gone and no replacements, he's every chance.
Bevan looks like a fine young man and will fit in well at the bears. IT doesnt matter what his past is like, his a player you can build the future of the club around and is a 10 year plus player. The bears have a few young players coming up thru the ranks these days. G-Train Barney says get a life gentlemen! surely better things to do on a monday afternoon
I think Stump is going to find that his falacious and HUGELY exaggerated figure about council spending will result in all three of his pegs being knocked over by some express deliveries from Dandenong Council, who naturally were incorrectly portrayed as spendthrifts by such an idiotic post.
Let's see if he also uproots himself from ever officiating again in a game involving said club. He's bared his colours for all to see with an incredibly vindictive outburst.
Ok Read the Future Of Sports in CGD Sports Facilities Plan first.
2011/12 Buckley Ridges $80,000. 14/15 $211,000 and 19/20 $264000
Total $555,000 to be used on Buckley Ridges Park Oval.
Then they don't mention the cost of turning the Shepley Pavilion Canteen into DDCA rooms which was stated to be approx.$250,000. I found this incredulous as you could get Simonds Homes to build you a 5 bedroom home for this money. But it was often repeated during the last year.
So Leadgloves, falacious you say well then your statement is just a bit off the mark.
As for separating what happens in the middle to what happens off ground you obviously don't know me well enough to know that your request warrants only contempt.
As for vindictive, never, just a few facts presented so people know the other side of the story.
As for poor old Phil well he has his story from Buckley where he plays.
Stumpy you really have no idea what you are talking about.
The facts are that you have not been involved in any of the meetings with the council, the DDCA or the Dandenong cricket club.
As for $500K you have really have no idea. The council budget allocated $50K for the project. The new fit out of the old Shepley oval canteen building that the DDCA umpires will be using is taking up $38K of the budget. The reamining $12K is being spent on the Greg Dickson pavillion.
Stumpy you forgot to mention the Dandenong Park Master plan that was issued by the council in 1997. Did that eventuate? No
Then we had the revised Dandenong Park precinct Master Plan in 2007. Have the planned works eventuated? No
But I am sure you are aware of that as you know everything already. Dont let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Bloods unbackable for 2012-13 flag with all the apparent departures at the cave, doves etc. they are right with retaining their golden oldies, including houdini who disappeared for the F1, and are believed to be working on another top local recruit to add to the fancied new Lankan.
Careful how many guns are recruited slocs, you might suddenly squeeze yourself out.
Interesting he trained with us a few times in Pre Season but decided against the move due to mates and not being guaranteed a spot in our 1s so he thought better off staying and playing Turf 2.....fair enough.
Going to Berwick whose batting is far stronger than ours?????
Slocs- Agree they have put alot of work into him, wont be happy at all.
He's keen to further develop his cricket and felt a move to a stronger club would be beneficial, so he decided to come to Berwick. I'm sure although they'd be disappointed, NSCC would understand his reasoning.
There have been no guarantees about what grade he'll play but I couldn't see why he wouldn't play in our ones, he looks a fairly talented player and motivated young man.
Spot On Gtrain, just need guidence which he will get at the cave.
Got plenty of guidance from the Lions, happy for young guys to want to play at a higher standard but to be perfectly honest he'll be playing 2nds at best. Just not ready for turf 1, the move is far too early in my opinion but wish him well.
