My source iPad of course tells me a club at melway ref 91 g11 have had more meetings then Donald trump would have plotting a plan on how they think they can win this years flag..............iPhone

My source iPad of course tells me a club at melway ref 91 g11 have had more meetings then Donald trump would have plotting a plan on how they think they can win this years flag..............iPhone          

          
No offence but don't these guys realise this is day one under julia and the greens' new world order and that they should stop wasting electricity/petrol etc attending these metting that haven't a snowballs hope in hell of garnering a T1 flag any time soon. as i said, no offence.

Parkfield CC haven't made to many mistakes, if any in the past so I can't imagine this decision being anything other than a calculated, long term decision..The kid might be young in age but he has the poise & maturity of someone years older. Playing district cricket at Melbourne and a former captain at rep-level, I'm confident he will grow into the role and become an excellent coach.

Seems a risky move to me...............assistant coaches role first would've been the go.............will he hold his spot in ones? ............Will you hold your spot in the ones also legal? .............. Big step for you seeing you finished up playing 2nd 11 at berwick some 4 years ago from memory ...............some very sharp bowlers getting around atm................iPhone

 Strong rumour it will relate to father/son rule.

Any Aussie citizen who has smacked one into the back of a foreigner, produced a boy & left him abroad, then the little fella wont be considered an overseas player....

The powerhouse DDCA clubs have been sending their talented cricketers overseas for years putting this into place.

That simply cannot happen for historical reasons, more so in these times. Our govt treats them uniquely, allowing them to come here freely and its a two way street for good reason. putting aside the sheep-shagger jokes (lets not forget we have our own blue-bloods qualified in the Western District and elsewhere) the Kiwis have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Diggers through every war we have fought to protect the freedoms we enjoy today, including little things we take for gtanted -- like playing cricket on the weelend.

If it is good enought for people coming in the backdoor after destroying their identity papers and heaps of others arriving by plane and simply not going home to be accepted as ''new'' Aussies and their children allowed to play in the DDCA then our closest kin, with identical values, system and same language (allowing for their stange pronouncation oif vowels) MUST be first among equals. Especially when ''mother'' england couldn't give a stuff about us and we have to join the immigration queue at heathrow etc while gypsys, romanian pick-pockets and italian spivs can waltz in under the eu cloak. the Kiwis are are closest and best friends, cousins, brothers and sisters in arms. DONT ever forget it.
