What is everyones thoughts on the state of Australian Cricket?? I can't decide whether we are in a transition stage or we just don't have anything out there of real quality n the selectors are pushing kids in hope sonething happens! Not a bad thing but does that underline our depth?? Personally I think we are missing two out n out opening batsman and a quality strike bowler and a spinner who does a roll. I Think Watson would be better suited down the order for a number of reasons but there is no one to open up n the fact he n Warner do it underlines how we are struggling. For me the blokes who pick themselves are Watson Clarke Wade Lee (for experience n to lead our attack) For me I am off tO Old Trafford Tuesday but can't seem to get excited or having any hope in seeing something I like from the Australian cricket team!

You are so far behind at the moment it is almost embarrassing.

I know a lot of Australians think that your bowling will rescue you from this hole you are in and win back The Ashes next year but it isn't going to happen. Your pace bowlers will be a match for ours AT BEST but you have to get them on the park first.

Minor problems are that your spinners are obviously way behind Swann. As is your keeper.

The main problem though is your batting. Its looks piss weak and even with Hussey and Ponting to come in I will be amazed if you make 400 in any single innings of the whole series.

I think what most you have said is accurate, Australia has no chance of even been competitive in the Ashes next series in England, it will take the following Ashes serious in Australia even if then.

Goochys right......the Poms are way if front of us its Laughable.

But what is laughable is that England claim that team to be there own. Without looking its a bloody foreign legion isn't it? Goochy please tell me how many where actually born in England?

It does not matter anymore Rob, they qualified for England under ECB n ICC rules n we have to move on, stop throwing up that petty argument just because there better then us. We just need to get better!

This just makes you look a bit silly mate. We didn't even have KP and still walloped you 4-0. Our test side has also ditched Morgan. I could probably pick 2 sides with players born in England who would beat you. Stop looking for excuses and focus on your own back yard.
