Pringles is anyone really bothered about the U/19 WC???
I don't want to wait 5+ years for these kids to impact n change Aystralian Cricket, I want to see us rise up thR rankings now, England are 2nd in Test Cricket, I will never be happy untill we pass them. About time we put out hands up and except England are better.

and yes England are 1 pt better than us at the moment but please dont tell me 18yolds arent an indication of the future
of a test side

And by the way faark Aussies can Sail hahaha The first fleet would have been here in 2 weeks if Slingsby was in charge

If you are clinging onto the cricketing performances of some 18 year olds in a format that no-one cares about anymore then you can go bury your head next to Mr. Ward!

This isn't just about cricket. You used to be the best at everything. Or at least that was the impression I got.

Mate the argument 'our future is bright' is hardly going to hold a argument in a English pub or that there 1pt infront of us on rankings. They have the ashes we don't!! With these 19yr olds alot can happen between now n then, inj or poor performances etc etc. still waiting for pat cummins to come good. All I am saying worry about the future when it's there time for now let's worry about today n be realistic.

I doubt too many people on this forum are going to be discussing this topic in an English pub anytime soon

Australia dominated cricket for 20 odd years, west indies 20 years before that, let's see if and when another country can do that, under 19 world cup has been a great contest if anyone happened to follow it.

Gee Gooch just having a cricket chat didnt think there was any need for personnal attacks against Rob

Its also convenient that no-one ever cares about anything that doesnt suit your arguement at the time

          funny about that

One tenth the size? Its about 60 million v 22 million. Interesting math....

The fact of the matter Rob is that Australia as a country is designed for sport! Facilities, weather and a population and lives and breathes competitive action.

You are like an ostrich with your head in the sand.

Someone needs to stop pointing at others and start asking why you are going backwards. There was a time when if we beat you at anything at all there was a huge national celebration. Fck me....remember the MBE's for the 2005 team!!!?

I ask again - what is going wrong?

i wouldnt say we are built for sport goochy......90% of our population is built around the coast. The rest are inland deserts and mountian. Weather wise yes.....but as a country just over 200 years old i think we are doing pretty good for ourselves.

goochy poochy, how'd you reckon the Aussies went against the pakis last night? not a bad demolition job even if, perhaps, the curry munchers had taken the eye of the nugget having won the series.

warner/whatto partnership crucial. warner needs to be a firecracker (as he was against the pakis in the 3rd game) consistently, not alternating as a fizzer.
