my postie from within your camp feels threatened and has zipped it for now, hence my reliance on you to spill the beans. pray, do tell re your spinner?
tgo, how much advice/guidance do you think you will need from your new coach given that your super confidence is based on having played/coached for eons? Someone who has been there, done that!
OK so you ignored my last post, but really, you will be aiming to impress the new coach from the first game. So will you be inking in a century against the Noisy Boyz in the first round?
i will be tuned right into what the new coach has to say. be silly not to.
i never ink in centuries ironsmith but would gladly accept one if it's on offer.
Just thought you'd be trying extra hard given that Janzi's a former capt-coach down by the creek and you've drawn them in the first round. Serendipitous?
Interesting to see a powerful club like SSCC acknowledge a champion bloke more than two decades after he first made a substantial mark at a much smaller club in the DDCA. I suppose if things don't work out there's always Kapila Jayasuria, another former champion capt-coach from down by the creek that you could try!
tgo, in your last post on the matter on june 3 you wrote "Javid has not signed at springvale sth. Next?"
well, now that the worst-kept secret is officially out, courtesy your mate in today's Leader, will your club consider tweaking its name to give some acknowledgement to narree seeing that more than a quarter of your potential 1st XI (King, Javid and Gertz) have arrived from the Magpie nest?
surely with your line-up for 2013-14, you guys will be the shortest priced favs in the history of the ddca. lots of batting depth, a quartet of young fast bowlers, a mix of a couple of wily OLD spinners with a young'un and a fresh young returnee wicket-keeper and walla, you have a winning combination. Interesting to see if you persist with your ageing (and prone to injury) but best (in my humble opinion) medium-fast bowler, which means poor young harry will be squeezed out. he might then wish he was back at keysie.
