 yes javid is now confirmed, wasn't earlier. we don't do secrets like 95% of other clubs.

why would we have to acknowledge narre? kings father coached our club a while back and giertz's father is also associated with our club and of course his grandfather ( Garry Todd) was instrumental in educating our once group 25 years ago. Maybe they should thank us by now having jeeva and manoj?

hardly flag favs with potentially only 2 players over the age of 24. will be an interesting year.

harry staude has had a knee reco so your prediction there is inaccurate.

Did you magnanimously facilitate the move of the two Lankans to the Magpies?

It's useless for you to play any kind of underdog card because SSC will clearly be favourites with a powerful interchangeable line-up that could be as follows (with some variations depending on injuries etc):

1. Masto 2. T-Model 3. Javid 4. Kingi 5. Quirki 6. Armo 7.TGO, 8. Sharpie 9. Staude 10 Mozz 11 Gerta. No other side in the comp will be able to match that.

As to what's happening down by the creek I'm out of the loop but suffice to say (and my friend Choo will be able to back me up), its pretty hard to back up when six of your premiership team are not there for the next campaign. But they'll be competitive. Bowling will be strong so it'll come down to the runs the batsmen can accumulate. Sound familiar with a certain team in England at the moment? Mordi will be up there and perhaps Berwick, depending on who they have recruited/enticed back, but I guess they fall in to that 95 per cent you referred to who will attempt to treat their signings like the secret service. All in all, you guys will have a pretty easy run into the finals with you line-up. Prove me wrong!

Has your Brit-Paki gun given you a cast iron guarantee that he will stay the distance for the finals, or will you be left out to dry when his county says come home for a bit of slap and tickle as they did last year leaving the Magpies high and dry?

my guess is that you would have/should have tied up that key loose end before forking out more than 20k, otherwise the dodgem car benefactor could ask for a refund.

what's with the happy snappy on the front page of the revised sccc site? living on past glories -- or super confident about the coming season?

i'll give you a tip: as we get older we shrink, so if you do get to pose for another happy snappy next march, get yourself in the front otherwise we won't see you.

Wow! KJ making his mark by laying out "High Performance" training this and that for your mob. Sounds ominous for the rest of the comp. Will be interested to get your honest opinion of how his "High Performance" sessions will differ from your intensive training sessions of the past and whether you conceded that his methods are better than yours?

Did Finchies glorious 156 T20 knock the other night against the Poms remind you of anything? I'm thinking of DJ's wondrous 190-plus against your mob. Similar number of sixes etc, with DJ's straight flat sixes across Harold Road (probably a bigger ground than the one in the UK) even more impressive!

what about some of the other 40 to 60 mutes who traverse this site every day take their hands of themselves and express an opinion. typical new age oz blokes, full of themselves and their entitlements (take a free gander at this forum) but no responsibilities (give something in return). most pathetic are springy south "supporters" who won't support their club forum. should be doubly embarrassed being dissed by someone from another club playing almost a lone hand supporting your forum!
