stump, what a guy! always on the ball. how come you didn't share this with us earlier rather than waiting like a (?) to carp from the sidelines. I'll think of you as something more than a nitpicking carpologist when you start breaking some news on here yourself.
wouldn't know about that. not on there. but you exaggerate with "everything" because I know you've been hissed at a lot of the stuff I've posted first. how many things have you posted first on here, your own chat site? just about zilch.
In further response to TGOs last post, this is fresh seeing the Lions-Wallabies third test just finished. Does the great one think the Lions captain asked Will Genia (in the style of Steve Waugh asking Hershie bar Gibbs) if he had just dropped the ball, the match and the series when the Aussie dropped the "catch" from the first kick-off that led to a try and the start of the onslaught?
I dont really think that was the Genia dropping the ball was that important in the context of the game, Australia's general play was not good.
They were constant errors throught out the game with knock ons at scrum and maul play. And when you have a kicker like Halfpenny around you cant afford to give away silly penalties. Considering the amounts of penalties and the sin binning Australia did well to be within 3 points just after half time
.
Mus Man, you are spot on in all your observations but it matters not an iota that they were 3 points behind just after half-time. They were blown away after that.
TGO, time for you to widen your sporting horizons. I was making a tongue-in-cheek observation between an event at the biggest game in the country on the night and a certain cricketing moment so beloved of Aussie cricket fans eager to belittle opponents making a mistake on a sporting field.
