At this time with 6 weeks to go all clubs have a fair idea if the deck would be ready

Not necessarily. Ours is a mudpit with junior footy just finishing on it, so a lot depends on the weather here on in.
Exactly Jarrod, for those grounds that have had footy on them, the last home and away has only just finished. I dont know a council that is that well prepared to have the decks topdressed and leveled the next day. A lot of decks only come up with a week to go.
Coomoora's no chance.. Soccer up til AFL prelim finals weekend then greater dandy are digging it up and redoing it.. Word is early November, apparently same situation at 4 or 5 other grounds in the area?
Any clubs struggling with turf wicket for early rounds should get ddca to get dandy to allow them to play on Wilson on Sundays. Groundsman been working hard and wicket should be up to usual high standard from day 1 of new season.
Sir, don't know if boys by the creek's t3 side will paly on Wilson. anyway every other game will be away.
Slocs, no problems with rooms. the squirrel with large nuts says the trees around Wilson are even better than the ones offered at Park Oval. Ladies toilets open. But Philbo could be induced to help out.

seriously, why not? i'm a believer in a true association as the last letter in DDCA signifies.
every playable ground should be made available on both days of the weekend to every club in decending order from T1 down, especially given the days lost early each season in recent years.
BF, Sir etc: Spurred on by Slocs' brilliant camouflage of cricket tours of Lanka to recruit gun players, I plan to get my hairy derriere to the T20 world cup for the same purpose: mingle with the local cricketing fraternity to sus out and recruit top plays in coming seasons so that they can come her by plane and not leaky boat. will set up agency and clubs can contact me; special friend's rate for the train who parks himself in a cave!!!
